3★ Taiten Takato - Last Note (Support Story)
Koki: …Come over here.
Taiten: How peculiar. I didn’t anticipate something like this to happen.
Koki: ……
Taiten: You’re really quite skilled. I hear you know a lot about wild plants. Is that because you spend a lot of time in the mountains?
Koki: …Yeah. .. Otogiriso is good for stopping bleeding. [1]
Taiten: The name itself sounds ominous, doesn't it?
Koki: There's a legend that an older brother, driven by anger, killed his younger sibling. [2]
What about you, though?
Taiten: There's no need to worry. Our bond as a Takato is unbreakable.
…Thank you for the first aid.
Koki: …..
Taiten: …Koki-kun? Um, could you please release my hand?
[CRACK]
Koki: You’re tense.
Taiten: ….?!
[CRACK]
Koki: Lack of sleep.
Taiten: Ack…!
[CRACK]
Koki: Poor metabolism.
Taiten: …!! That's enough. Please let go now.
Hayate: Ahaha! I was wondering what you were up to, and it turns out you’re getting a hand massage from Koki-san.
This might be the first time I’ve seen Taiten in such agony.
Taiten: …He's someone you never know what he'll do next.
Hayate: I've had it done to me too, and it was really painful. But don’t you feel so much better afterwards? [3]
Taiten: ...Indeed, my fingers seem to be moving more freely.
Koki: …Give me your other hand.
Taiten: No, it’s fine.
Koki-kun, you're quite skilled at massages too. Thank you for everything, including the first aid.
Well then, I’ll take my leave. I don’t want to keep Uryu-kun waiting.
Koki: …..
Hayate: See yaaa
Taiten: (Out of all the people, to embarrass of myself in front of those two… I cannot let Wisdom Thinks see any signs of weakness.)

Translation notes:
[1] 弟切草 or Otogiriso is a species of St. John’s wort. It is used to heal cuts, soothe bruises, stop bleeding, help dog bites and bee stings and much more. You can read more about it here here.
[2] The Japanese name of the plant was derived from a legend in the Heian Era. Where a falconer had a secret that the plant healed the wound of a falcon, his younger brother found out and gave away his secret. Filled with rage, he killed his brother in the process. The blood remained in the leaves of the plant and became black spots. Read more here.
